Job Description:
Development of Novel radio pharmaceutical agents labeling of proteins, peptides or other targeted agents
Development and validation of analytical methods (chemical and instrumental) for use in pharmaceutical development Involved in the development of new pharmaceutical and radiopharmaceutical compounds (design, synthesis, purification, scale-up, labelling, analysis, evaluation of potency) Develops chemical or instrumental analysis on developed pharmaceutical compounds in accordance to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP).
Validates developed analytical methods (preparation of protocols and reports, execution of validation protocol).
Eligibility: M. SC – chemistry or Ph. D – Organic Chemistry or radio chemistry
Desired:
analytical capability and computer literacy Knowledge on laboratory equipment such as Gas Chromatograph (GC), High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Mass Spectrometry (MS, GC-MS, LC-MS), Nuclear Magnetic Resonance spectrometer, FTIR spectrophotometer.
Good knowledge of organic synthesis (design of synthetic pathway, realization of synthesis, etc.)
Good knowledge of radiochemistry (radiolabelling, purification, formation of organometallic complex, radiochemical purity determination, etc.)
Good knowledge of chemical structure characterization using spectroscopic techniques.
Good knowledge of purification techniques (flash chromatography, HPLC, crystallization, etc)
Familiarity with pharmaceutical development
Familiarity with USP and EP pharmacopeias
Familiarity with GLP and cGMP
Familiarity with method validation Proficiency in English, bilingual (french and English) Preferred
Excellent manual dexterity Excellent communication Initiative Ability to work independently
