Requirement: Software Tester / Software Quality Engineer
Job Location: Bangalore
Exp: 2-3years
Eligibility: BE / B.Tech / MCA
Desired:
-Develop and execute test cases/scripts based on defined business/functional specifications and/or use cases.
-Provide detailed defect information in defect tracking system and maintain up-to-date bug status.
-Troubleshoot and find root cause of issues found during testing.
-Experience in Testing of web based / commercial software applications, with in-depth exposure to the different areas of testing cycle (functional, system, integration, data validation, user interface, user acceptance and performance).
-Demonstrate competency in software testing disciplines and methodology.
-Good understanding of software product lifecycle and how it pertains to product validation and Quality Assurance.
-Good database skills in at least one of the following database platforms: Oracle and MS SQL.
-Possess good knowledge on Process and Product Quality methods.
-Working knowledge of SEI-CMM, ISO, SQC is a plus.
-Exposure to Automated tools such as Win Runner, Load Runner is a plus.
