Requirement: Technical Architect/Project Lead/Sr. Consultant (Java/J2EE)

Job Description:
-To work at Project Lead level with good Technical Architect skills.
-Identify the technical architecture required to implement a new project or application.
-Evaluate & choose most appropriate technologies, infrastructure needs, integration mechanism and security mechanism to be used in the project in liaison with functional architect/analysts.
-Identify the solutions to assure proper SLA, high availability, fail over mechanism and disaster recovery option based on non-functional requirements of the project.
-Describe technically the interfaces to be used between systems (protocol and APIs to be used).
-Perform proof of concepts, performance tests and benchmarking to evaluate acceptability of technical solutions.
-Ensure that the proposed solution can support the load in production and offer correct scalability and manageability by operational people.
-Identify and document all architecture patterns to be used during development, which includes:
-Error handling, monitoring & business auditing
-Connectivity
-Establish check lists for architecture tasks (scalability aspects, performance, and availability)
Desired:
-Database: MS SQL Server 2000/2005, DB2, Oracle, MySQL
-Application Servers: JBoss, Websphere, Weblogic, GlassFish
-Technologies/Frameworks: EJB3, JSF, Struts, JBoss Seam, Web Services, Tapestry, Spring, XML Technologies, Hibernate/JPA, Security
-6-8 years of experience in the development of enterprise applications or in the operational support of complex environments.
-At least 3 years experience of working at the architect level.
-Strong understanding of technologies like J2EE, Web Services, SOA architecture concepts, integration protocols, security mechanisms are required.
-Conversant on OO concept, RUP, UML, XML, etc.
-Well Versed of load balancing, high availability mechanism, fail over, etc.
-Excellent communication and presentation skills.
-Good negotiator to reach agreements on technical solution taking into account project constraints.
-Experience of using open source frameworks and integrating them with existing application/framework.
-Ability to find solutions in a short timeframe with the highest degree of reuse and quality.
-Having in depth understanding of the modern technologies and trends, development patterns and methodologies.
-Possessing an overall vision of the product in development.
-Excellent communication and presentation skills.
-Good negotiator to reach agreements on technical solution taking into account project constraints
