Job Description:
-Hands-on, traditional software development tasks including interface design, interface development and interface certification support
-Mentor junior interface developers including owning API specification for companies software products
-Manage assigned projects and tasks successfully, on time, on budget, and within scope
-Participate in collaborative software design and project planning sessions
-Interface point person for India-based team working with a distributed team including the US and Europe
-Reports directly to local Project Management
Eligibility: B.Tech/B.E, MCA
Desired:
-7-20 years of software development experience including significant experience with system integration with heterogeneous technologies including all layers of the OSI stack
-Mandatory technical skills including the C#, .NET, Java, Stored Procedures, T-SQL, Scripting, and EDI with a strength in XML and XSLt knowledge
-Mandatory Experience with Agile AND Extreme programming methodologies
-Proven track record of system integration skills primarily in interface development leveraging standard API’s and custom integration spanning from low-level XML/EDI integration to screen scraping experience
-Experience with Car, Hotel, Air and Cruise interfacing a plus including leveraging OTA or HTNG specifications
-Experience with relational databases including SQLServer and MySQL, a plus
-Experience with configuration management tools including SVN
-Hands-on experience with a ‘get it done’ attitude
-Microsoft and IBM certifications, a plus
-Ability to troubleshoot issues and communicate resolution status effectively to development, customer service and business operations
-Experience with an ASP environment, a plus
-Proven experience working remotely from test systems and supporting offshore interface testing and certification
