NOTIC FOR WALK –IN- INTERVIEW
Walk in interview for the following vacant or likely to be vacant posts of Senior Resident/Junior Residents on regular basis will be held on 23.02.2012 & 24.02.2012 for Senior Residents and on 22.02.2012 for Junior residents in the hospital at 10.00 AM. The appointment will be for a period of one year for Senior Residents extendable up to further period two Years (Total three years ) or till the centralized recruitment of SRs by
Govt. of NCT of Delhi whichever is earlier , and for six months for junior Residents extendable up to further six months (Total One year) :-
Senior Residents:
1. Medicine: 05 Posts
2. Surgery: 05 Posts
3. Peads: 06 Posts
4. Gynae: 09 Posts
5. Anesthesia: 03 Posts
6. Ortho: 02 Posts
7. Radiology: 04 Posts
Junior Residents:
1. J/R MBBS: 34 Posts
Qualification:
For Sr. Resident: – Post Graduate Degree/Diploma from a Recognized University. The candidate should be registered with DMC and must have not completed 03 years Senior Residency in any Hospital in India.
In case where no fresh candidates are available, candidates who have completed 3 years of senior residency and are willing to serve as S/R, shall be allowed to appear in the interview. A separate merit list will be prepared for fresh candidates and for those candidates who have completed 3 years of Senior residency already.
Further, Firstly the list of fresh candidates would be exhausted for appointment as S/R and then the second list candidates would be called for appointment.
The candidates from the second list will be appointment for 1 year only i.e. it would not be extendable after 1 year.
For Jr. Resident: MBBS from recognized university, registered with Delhi Medical Council.
Must not have completed 01 year Jr. Residency in any recognized institution. The candidate having completed compulsory rotatory internship after 31.01.2010 shall be given preference.
Junior residents who have completed one year junior residency shall also be allowed to appear in the interview and will be offered residency only if no fresh junior residents are available. There would be no extension for any junior resident beyond one year of appointment. Post graduate doctors who are interested to serve as JR’s will be allowed to join as J/R’s if fresh graduates are not available.
Age limit: 40 Years for both Sr. Resident and Jr. Resident as on 07.02.2012.
Age relaxation is allowed for SC/ST and OBC candidates as per rules.
Emoluments
For Senior Residents PB-3 (Rs. 15,600-39,100/-PM+ Grade pay RS. 6,600/- + other allowances).
For Junior Residents PB-3 (Rs. 15,600-39,100/-PM+ Grade pay RS. 5,400/- + other allowances).
