C-DAC, Corporate office invites applications for the following posts available at its Corporate Office in Pune as given below:
Position Name: Senior Technical Officer

Number of Positions: Two (2): in Grade Based Contract for 5 years.
Age : Not more than 33 years (Relaxation of Age shall be applicable as per Government of India guidelines)
Pay Band and Grade Pay: Pay in Pay Band PB-3 15600-39100 with Grade Pay of Rs. 6600 (plus allowances as per Central Government Rules as applicable to employees working in Pune)
Tenure of Appointment: 5 years on contract basis. The posts are against project vacancies currently available and are expected to run co-terminus with the ongoing projects. Renewal of contracts will depend upon the performance of the candidates and requirement of the institution.
Educational Qualification:
- 1st class B.E. / B. Tech. / MCA/ or equivalent degree in relevant discipline with 3 years of experience. (OR CGPA / CPI more than 7.0 in case institute do not award class) OR
- Postgraduate in Engineering/ Technology in relevant discipline with 1 year of experience OR
- 1st class Postgraduate degree in relevant discipline with 3 years experience or Postgraduate degree in domain specific discipline with 3 years of experience. OR
- Ph. D in relevant discipline
Relevant discipline: Computer Science / Information Technology / Electronics / Electronics and Telecommunication / Electrical / Instrumentation.
(Note: Post Qualification experience shall only be considered)
Essential Skill Set required: PNE/CORP/STO1-FEB 2012: Knowledge of data security technologies, encryption, cryptographic techniques, OS and Kernel details for Linux or similar multi-user, multi-tasking system, implementation experience using C / C++ or similar programming languages in these areas.
PNE/CORP/STO2-FEB 2012: Knowledge of Java / Eclipse and similar technologies, Implementation experience of middleware based solutions, Knowledge of mobile based applications development life cycle and experience.
