REQUIREMENT OF CIVIL ENGINEERS (EXECUTIVE AND NONEXECUTIVE) ON THREE YEARS CONTRACT BASIS FOR DMRC KOCHI PROJECT.
Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), a joint venture company with equity participation from Govt. of India and Govt. of National Capital Territory of Delhi has been entrusted with the responsibility of implementation of the Rail based Mass Rapid
transit System for Delhi.
Applications are invited from dynamic, experienced and motivated Civil Engineers, for its Kochi Metro Project to be executed by DMRC. The appointment shall be for 3 years on contract basis in regular pay scales along with medical and LTC facilities.
Assistant Engineer: 10 Posts
Max. Age as on 01-01-12: 40 years with relaxation of 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC & ST candidates.
Jr.Engineer: 30 Posts
Max. Age as on 01-01-12: 28 years with relaxation of 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC & ST candidates
Qualification:
BE/B.Tech/Equivalent in Civil Engineering Discipline with 1st Division for the post of Assistant Engineer and 3 years diploma with 60% marks in Civil Engineering Discipline for the post of Junior Engineer. For Junior Engineer knowledge of local language (i.e. Malayalam) both spoken and written is mandatory.

Mode of Selection: A. Based on the number of applications received the management reserves the right to hold-
1. Written Examination/Interview based on percentage of marks in Qualifying Exam or both.
2. Group discussion (for AEN post only)
3. Medical examination.
B. Names of short listed candidates along with Written examination / interview or both.
The schedule will be put up on our website on or before 16/03/12. We intend calling about 05 times the number of candidates for interview than the number of vacancies based on the experience or percentage of overall marks in degree/diploma level examinations. The interview will be held at Kochi tentatively during last week of March. No separate communications by post will be sent to candidates individually.
