Job Profile:
This position is part of Engineering Applications development team to develops new applications and customizes development work in Java, JSP and Java Scripts.
Essential Functions
Responsible for the development life cycle of the applications/ project that includes writing efficient code, developing unit test plan, unit testing the code for correctness and performance and integrating the developed code with other components of the project
Communicating with the design and architecture team, other team members and the project manager
Code and test plan reviews of team members.
Participation in requirements analysis and technical architecture design meeting to understand the philosophy of architecture and design
Mentor and lead junior team members to achieve application development timelines
Candidate Profile:
• Strong programming fundamentals that includes data structure and basic algorithms
• Strong in Java programming that includes clear understanding of core Java and working knowledge of JSP and Java scripts
• Good knowledge of J2EE application server programming framework
• Good knowledge of application performance optimizations
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP based communication Desirable
• Exposure to Multi threaded component development
• Knowledge of HTTP, HTTPS and SMPP
• Jboss, and MySQL development experience
• Knowledge of widely used open source tools such as CVS, Log4J, XDoclet, Ant, and Eclipse
• Exposure of application development and deployment in Linux environment
• Exposure to Wireshark and related network debugging tools
• Exposure to applications development in Telecom Domain Minimum Requirements
• BS, MS or higher degree in IT or computer Science from reputed institute or equivalent
• 2+ years of development experience in developing java applications
• Working knowledge of shell scripting
Exp: 3-5years
Education: BE/B.Tech, MCA, M.Tech
